<p>Matters for attention during the construction of castables</p>



<p>(1) Template: the template for pouring construction can be made of steel plate or hardwood plate (five-plywood), the template should have enough strength, good rigidity, no deformation, no displacement, no leakage of slurry, just the template should be coated with mold releasing agent, wood template should be coated with waterproofing agent, and repeated use of templates should be cleaned and then coated with paint before use. Spot check holes and cleaning holes should be made of wood to make a regular mold shell. Support wood magic board metal reinforcement per square meter should be more than 4 (to avoid intense heat transfer) and the reinforcement should be anchored as the base welding (that is, the template of the reinforcement should be welded on the anchors).</p>



<p>(2) Water-cement ratio: the amount of water added when mixing the castables should be controlled strictly according to the elucidation book, and should not exceed the limited amount, and under the premise of guaranteeing the construction function, the amount of water added should be less rather than more.</p>



<p>(3) Stirring: the mixing work of the castables should be not less than 5 minutes (subject to the requirements of the manual), the operation should be forced mixer. It is advisable to mix dry first, and then participate in 80% amount of water mixing, and then depending on its dry and wet level, Ran to participate in the remaining water to continue mixing, until the task of obtaining a suitable level to stop. Stir different castables to clean the mixer.</p>



<p>(4) The use of pouring material: the pouring material must be used in the whole bucket and whole bag, and the stirred pouring material must be used up within 30 minutes, and this work should be shortened in the low-temperature and dry working environment, and the pouring material which has been initially solidified or even lumped shall not be poured into the mold frame, and it shall not be stirred and used after adding water again.</p>



<p>(5) Vibration: Pouring the castable into the mold frame should be immediately vibrated with vibrating rod to shake the solid in layers, the height of each layer should not be more than 300mm, and the vibration spacing of about 250mm is suitable. Vibration should try to avoid touching the anchorage, shall not damage the heat insulation layer, shall not be in the same position on the long vibration or vibration, see the appearance of the castable material back to the slurry should be vibrating rod slowly withdrawn, to prevent the castable layer of segregation of the phenomenon and the presentation of the empty flood.</p>



<p>(6) Large area construction: In the process of large area construction, it should be divided into pieces of construction, and the area of each pouring area should be about 1.5m2; the shrinkage joints should be left in accordance with the design requirements, and should not be omitted, and the shrinkage joints should be left in the status of the two ends of the distance of the anchoring pieces, and the shrinkage joints can be used with the boards which are 6~8mm thick, and the interval between the sections of the boards and the templates should be 40~60mm, and the shrinkage boards should be stopped and fixed effectively. The board for shrinkage should be fixed ineffectively to avoid dislocation in the construction process of pouring material.</p>



<p>(7) About the welding of anchors: draw grid lines on the task surface (according to the requirements of the drawings), weld the anchors on the status of the grid line joints, and weld the roots of the anchors with full welding. After the construction of the casting material is completed, the casting body shall not be forbidden to be subjected to pressure or shock again before curing.</p>

<p>Drainage sand for ladle drainage has four basic requirements:</p>



<p>Diversion sand in the ladle water mouth for a long time in a high temperature state, the requirements of the sintering layer of high refractoriness; diversion sand filled into the mouth of the water directly in contact with the molten steel, the beginning of the sintering temperature should not be too high; in the process of use, the diversion sand to withstand a greater static pressure of molten steel, in order to prevent taut material, the diversion sand is required to have a very good mobility, as much as possible between the particles of the friction is small; the diversion of sand in the high temperature, to prevent the diversion of sand in the use of process Automatic fall or can not effectively support the upper material. Based on the above requirements, to meet in the practical application of four common types of diversion sand:</p>



<p>Magnesian-olivine, siliciclastic, zirconic, and chromic drainage sands.</p>



<p>1. Magnesia olivine drainage sand. The basic performance of magnesium olivine diversion sand can meet the basic requirements of diversion sand, is a kind of cheap diversion sand. But the actual application, mold casting of automatic pouring rate can reach 95%, but in continuous casting, automatic pouring rate is low. In the steel mill now, the proportion of the use of this type of diversion sand is about 15-20%.</p>



<p>2. Silica sand diversion sand. Silica sand melting point of about 1680-1700 ℃, the application of more, but the quartz sand at 1200 ℃ or more will be due to the phase change caused by a large volume expansion, resulting in filling sand and water mouth wall adhesion increases, unreasonable to open the pouring of filling sand free fall, and even appear "bridge" phenomenon. In addition, the quartz sand after artificial processing shows that there are many angles and irregularities, so the natural mobility is poor, easy to cause "taut material"; and the irregularity is easy to affect the self-opening rate. However, the silica diversion sand is currently the most used kind of diversion sand, accounting for about 50%-60%.</p>



<p>3. Zircon sand generally w(ZrSiO4) ≥97%, free w(SiO2) ≤2%, w(impurity) ≤1%, melting point is higher than 1800℃. Zircon has been used as casting sand and continuous casting lead sand material due to its excellent properties such as low thermal expansion, good thermal conductivity, high bulk density, good stability, not easy to be wetted by the liquid steel, etc., and at the same time, it is in the shape of round particles. Zircon sand is less prone to sintering than silica sand, but it is limited by the high price, and is mostly used for intermediate ladle diversion.</p>



<p>4. Chromite composition w(Cr2O3), 32-35%; w(FeO), 14-17%; w(MgO), 12-18%; w(Al2O3), 16-</p>



<p>25%; w(SiO2) , 2-12%. melting point about 1730-1750°C. The chromium diversion sand is made of chromite and additives, and has the advantages of high specific gravity, good fluidity, high melting point, and no excessive sintering. In the chromium diversion sand, chromite is continuously distributed when the amount of chromite added is greater than 60%, and this distribution helps to form a continuous sintered layer. Under high temperature, FeO in chromite reacts to dissolve and form secondary spinel, which changes the volume of the sintered layer and produces cracks, so that when the slide plate is opened, the unsintered diversion sand in the lower part of the spout flows out rapidly, and the cracks in the sintered layer expand rapidly, and the sintered layer is completely destroyed under the action of the static pressure of molten steel, so that it can achieve the purpose of automatic opening of the pouring. <p>凯尔得耐材 自从连铸工艺诞生以来，中间包就发挥着不可替代的作用，而工作衬是保护其正常安全运行的基础。干式料以施工方便、升温速度快、长寿和脱包容易等优点，长期作为中间包工作衬材料。而干式料材质以镁质为主，然而，随着镁砂资源的日益枯竭，加上环保治理，镁砂供应短缺且价格迅速攀升，钢铁企业急需替代镁质材料的新材料。</p>



<p>洛阳市凯尔得耐火材料有限公司（以下简称“洛阳市凯尔得”）急钢铁企业之所急，向市场推出了经多年研究开发的专利（专利号：CN105777158A）产品——硅质干式料。该硅质干式料采用自然开采的硅石颗粒、细粉和微粉、超微粉作为主要原料，加上结合剂和烧结剂进行合理配比。</p>



<p>天然硅石中的SiO2呈α-石英，在加热过程中α-石英会发生晶型转化，产生体积膨胀，正因为天然硅石的这种性能，再加上硅砂的体积密度低于镁砂，因此硅质干式料不仅能让中间包的保温性能大幅增加，使烘烤温度更低，显著降低了热损失，而且相对体积用料更少，节约了用料成本，减少了劳动强度，为炼钢企业大幅降低成本。同时，加入的结合剂在高温后的残碳呈网状结构，形成牢固的骨架，而原料中的超微粉粘附在残碳网状结构表面，显著提高工作衬的强度；而烧结剂在使用中形成陶瓷烧结层，硅石超微粉渗入陶瓷烧结层的空隙中，起到二次防护的作用，干式料的结构强度和耐侵蚀性能均得以提高。</p>



<p>洛阳市凯尔得生产的硅质干式料可用于中间包包底、包壁以及冲击区渣线。与镁质干式料相比，具有以下优点：</p>



<p>1、烘烤简单，使用方便；2、因体积密度较低，保温性能优于镁质干式料，降低了烘烤温度，节约能源；3、使用时间长，在12-36小时。</p>



<p>洛阳市凯尔得硅质干式料除了上述三点优点外，价格相对低廉，因此可完全代替镁质干式料。</p>

<p>凯尔得耐材 自从连铸工艺诞生以来，中间包就发挥着不可替代的作用，而工作衬是保护其正常安全运行的基础。干式料以施工方便、升温速度快、长寿和脱包容易等优点，长期作为中间包工作衬材料。而干式料材质以镁质为主，然而，随着镁砂资源的日益枯竭，加上环保治理，镁砂供应短缺且价格迅速攀升，钢铁企业急需替代镁质材料的新材料。</p>



<p>洛阳市凯尔得耐火材料有限公司（以下简称“洛阳市凯尔得”）急钢铁企业之所急，向市场推出了经多年研究开发的专利（专利号：CN105777158A）产品——硅质干式料。该硅质干式料采用自然开采的硅石颗粒、细粉和微粉、超微粉作为主要原料，加上结合剂和烧结剂进行合理配比。</p>



<p>天然硅石中的SiO2呈α-石英，在加热过程中α-石英会发生晶型转化，产生体积膨胀，正因为天然硅石的这种性能，再加上硅砂的体积密度低于镁砂，因此硅质干式料不仅能让中间包的保温性能大幅增加，使烘烤温度更低，显著降低了热损失，而且相对体积用料更少，节约了用料成本，减少了劳动强度，为炼钢企业大幅降低成本。同时，加入的结合剂在高温后的残碳呈网状结构，形成牢固的骨架，而原料中的超微粉粘附在残碳网状结构表面，显著提高工作衬的强度；而烧结剂在使用中形成陶瓷烧结层，硅石超微粉渗入陶瓷烧结层的空隙中，起到二次防护的作用，干式料的结构强度和耐侵蚀性能均得以提高。</p>



<p>洛阳市凯尔得生产的硅质干式料可用于中间包包底、包壁以及冲击区渣线。与镁质干式料相比，具有以下优点：</p>



<p>1、烘烤简单，使用方便；2、因体积密度较低，保温性能优于镁质干式料，降低了烘烤温度，节约能源；3、使用时间长，在12-36小时。</p>



<p>洛阳市凯尔得硅质干式料除了上述三点优点外，价格相对低廉，因此可完全代替镁质干式料。</p>



<p>目前，安阳亚新、新疆大安、包头石拐、徐州泰发、扬州秦邮、连云港镔鑫等钢厂已经使用了洛阳市凯尔得生产的硅质干式料，为钢铁企业节能降耗做出了积极贡献，取得了显著的经济效益和社会效益。</p>



<p>目前，洛阳凯尔正在扩大产量，抓紧时间生产，争取为更多的钢铁企业分忧解难。后期，还将继续以“技术开发、技术创新、技术储备”的三级技术管理模式、发挥独立实验室的作用，推出更多的科研成果，为中间包的发展探索更多解决的方案。（编辑：王艳茹）</p>

<p>浇注料又称耐火浇注料，是一种由耐火物料加入一定量结合剂制成的粒状和粉状材料，具有较高流动性，以浇注方式成型的不定形耐火材料。</p>



<p>同其他不定形耐火材料相比，结合剂和水分含量较高，流动性较好，故而浇注料应用范围较广，可根据使用条件对所用材质和结合剂加以选择。既可直接浇注成衬体使用，又可用浇注或震实方法制成预制块使用。</p>
