<p>The electric furnace cover lining is the weak link of the whole furnace body. Due to the influence of operating factors and structural factors, it puts harsh requirements on the resistant material. The main factors affecting the life of the furnace cover are:</p>



<p>　　1. Thermal shock. Temperature changes caused by electric arc heating, steel discharge and furnace cover movement;</p>



<p>　　2, chemical erosion. Slag steel splash to the surface, causing chemical erosion, as well as the role of CO, CO2, SiO2, etc. in the furnace;</p>



<p>　　3. Arc radiation. Melt loss caused by thermal radiation from arc heating;</p>



<p>　　4, the wear and tear of the high-speed airflow formed by the high-speed dust extraction in the furnace;</p>



<p>　　Therefore, the refractory materials for the furnace cover are required to have good thermal shock resistance, erosion resistance to high-temperature spattering of slag, as well as good integrality and solid structure without cracking.</p>



<p>　　According to the requirements, our company utilizes modern material science and technology, according to the principle of compound-phase modification, scientific configuration and elaborate production, and successfully develops a kind of long-life type castable prefabricated block:</p>



<p>　　Contains two series: one is aluminum-chromium system. It can be used in all kinds of high-power or ultra-high-power electric furnaces.</p>



<p>　　The other series is the aluminum-spinel system, which is particularly useful for the furnace top triangle.</p>



<p>　　This kind of castables referenced to the intermediate packet flow stabilizer, impact brick and slag wall achieved good results.</p>

<p>Intermediate package flow stabilizer is installed at the bottom of the impact area of the intermediate package is used to stabilize the flow of steel in the area of the intermediate package water mouth, to prevent steel slag from being involved in the steel caused by internal quality defects in the continuous casting billet, and to promote inclusions to float to reduce the splashing of steel functional refractory materials, our production of stabilizers using aluminum and magnesium castable material. Aluminum and magnesium can effectively generate spinel under the condition of 1200-1300 ℃, and spinel has excellent anti-slag permeability, reduce the penetration of the products, improve the use of efficiency.</p>
